Boris Vallejo 'Mistress of Fire' Tribute Statueby *Knight-of-olde

Traditional Art / Sculpture / Fantasy

Even though I absolutely LOVE anything from Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, the two most fantastic artists in the world, and I would give my right arm to be even a hundredth as good as those two, I must admit to not liking the official statue for the 'Mistress of Fire'.

I do not feel that it is an accurate representation of the painting. The official statue is too stylised for my taste and doesn't show off the mastery of Boris' work.

With this sculpt, I just wanted to see if I could, (with my limited skill) make a statue that was more true to the painting. Now, I may be biased, but I like my version of 'Mistress of Fire' much more than the official one.
