Taking Life Easy

First attempt at painting with Acrylics, not too sure that I like working with Acrylic paint, I feel that it dries too quickly, and is not really good at blending or smooth coverage. I want to do a series of Narrow Boat paintings, and I thought it would make a change and a challenge to paint in different mediums, so the next will be oils, and then watercolour. I really want to find out which medium gives the best results, and which fits better with my style of doing things.

I've always loved the Narrow Boat style of life, taking life at a much more sedate and calm pace, meandering through the canals of Britain, you see the country in a completely different way. Lovely way of life !
